Classic WBM series + Tycoon game. My expectation was high enough for new game however unfortunately WBM2 is basically same initial game since 2008. Almost no improvement but only new interface which is nicer and more useful. Guys!, this game still has no trade or loan options :) or proper draft system in NBA. you cant even scout potential tallented players. Moreover still struggling with sufficient numbers of bugs. Honestly the WBM2 is not worth to pay 10Euros of bill :) . Even though plenty of issues, it is still best basketball manager game especially whom likes old school type of managering games. On the other hand, creators of this game had very limited budget and dedicated their time to build the WBM2. Yes there are so many drawbacks but truth is this game is still the best game in market. Well I don't know how the developers have done it but they've really made me feel like i'm immersed in a huge basketball world. I'm not normally a basketball fan, so I don't fully know how the rules of the game work, but even though there's a lot of depth to this game, it's still easy enough for the beginner to figure out after a few games what's going on. The matches are quite long so I don't know if I could sit and spend a whole day playing it, so i've simmed it to the current date and I play it in real time, it just feels more exciting doing it that way.. The game crashes randomly... some options not work at all... You have no control of tactics, trade, finance. Idea is good but game is not!. I bought this game when it first came to steam only to have it refunded, months and months have passed and I got the game again since it was on sale for only 2.50$!! Sadly though it needs so much work to be fun. I love sim\/management games and it seems that American football and Basketball sims are just never done right or even close to what should be a higher standard in 2017. This game is to management sim games like Lonzo Balls shooting in the nba, its just cringe.I don't have much good to say about the game because its so boring I can't even play it. But I can tell you why I have issues with it. First has no music, give us some 8-bit or something so it doesn't feel like I'm playing a game in DOS. There is no fantasy draft so you can't build your own team only take over a team and what's even way worse is there isn't even trading! User interface is confusing, players need a better rating system too. And lastly its just not fun if your looking to manage a team in the NBA...If there game ever gets better features or some patch I will change my review. How do you make a game about being a basketball coach with...well, no coaching? For all the quotes from all time great coaches you would expect you could at least change your defensive schemes, overall offensive schemes, etc. NOPE. You basically just read what happens, as you sub guys in and out. During timeouts you can call literally ONE PLAY. The rest of it is just sitting there, watching your guys flounder a lead, or fall completely out of competition, even though you see what is going wrong, but you are helpless to do anything about it. I tried this game because I like these manager games, but goodness even the DREADFUL PBM 2017 had more options than this. Yes, the game does run relatively quick for all the leagues, but boy is it a snoozefest. All the excitement of checking the box scores, but for $9.99 instead of free. I just cannot fathom how you make a basketball game, with absolutely no strategy or adjustment to it. It boggles the mind. I guess the strategy could be from offseason trading, but 5 minutes of simulation between games, just to watch another menu leaves little incentive to play for that long. Oh, and there's no BGM at all. I would offer to make you a soundtrack for cheap, but this game is just so bad I wouldn't want my name attached to it either. Somehow PBM also wins here even though their soundtrack is just a bunch of sloppy tracks by the same dude. SMHFinal Rating: refund\/10
